Sod Ordering Check List

Sod is perishable and must be installed immediately.

Prepare the ground including installing underground irrigation prior to the arrival of the sod.
- Till and level soil adding any soil amenities needed before you order. If you plan on installing a under ground irrigation system now is the time.
Measure and calculate the new lawn area into square feet. (Length X Width etc.)
- *Total sq./ft.
Have a watering system ready to go.
- Protect your investment. Your new lawn will need water immediately following installation.
Starter Fertilizer is recommended either before or after installation.
- You can find Starter Fertilizer at your local garden center or we can deliver it with your sod. Don't forget the fertilizer spreader.
If your picking up your sod, line up a vehicle and/or trailer prior to ordering.
- A half ton, full-sized pickup truck can usually hold 500 sq ft.
- There is no minimum to purchase on pick-up orders at the farm.
- 500 sq ft minimum on deliveries.

(Please note that orders picked up at the farm may need a 24 hour advance notice and deliveries many require additional time.)
